Problem with boot

Ok, even the disc won't really work, i guess i do need a new hard drive...don't worry, thanks for trying to help though...If u wanna know what ahppened, the first time it froze because it was really slow (my computer isn't usually slow) and then i tried it 2 more times, and it stopped way before the first time. I will ask if my parents or relatives know where i could get a hard drive for my computer

Thanks again...If u can, please help me out on one more thing...if u can, i kinda need to know what hard drive to get, i think there's ones bigger than others that may not fit my laptop and something might go wrong so can u tell me one that i can get for Vostro 1510?
