Solved realsched.exe (Real Player)

Well if you disabled the entries in task scheduler then it shouldn't try to run however there wouldn't be any harm in removing the entries. There is only one other way that I know where programs can start automatically. Under start menu > all programs, look for the startup folder and check the contents. If there is a realplayer shortcut remove it.
I deleted all entries and checked the start menu, nothing there. Thank you for your help with this. It's been a learning experience for me that will help me with other things, as well. I guess I will let it alone for awhile in case I stumble onto a need for it & may need to reinstall ... or then uninstall to get rid of pop-up. Thanks again, much appreciated!

A safe way to work with the registry is to click on Computer after running regedit.exe. Then select File\Export. Give it a name and path you can remember. That way you can always import the original, if something goes awry. Of course, the safest way is to set a system restore point before messing with it.

In the system restore, you can select additional restore points instead of the one it recommends. If there are additional restore points, pick the last one before the problem occurred.
Thank you for your help, it's greatly appreciated! Your assistance has been a learning experience for me in many ways!

I don't have Real Player installed but wonder if it has placed an add-on in your browser. Normally, Real Player wouldn't be called unless you're on the internet or if you start it manually.

You should also look in Control Panel\Default programs and check to see if there are any files associated with it.

I still think there's something in the registry.

OK, I was able to use regedit and searched under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and found a TON of Real Player "stuff". Is that where I am supposed to look, or under one of the other Headings? Do I need to delete ALL of them? I'm a little nervous working in the Registry, am unfamiliar with that end of the computer & have never worked with it before. Thank you.

There are very few locations within the registry that run programs upon boot up and they are controlled by msconfig but you are right in that you shouldn't just delete them. Try using either revouninstaller or perfect uninstaller to scan for traces of reaplayer. If nothing else you can reinstall and do a forced uninstall through either program. That should remove everything.

You should also look for a Real Player add-on in IE or whatever your browser is, as I mentioned earlier.

Thank you both for all your help! Although I had checked in WinPatrol earlier, somehow this Realplayer file went into "Delayed Startups" after that, but was listed as "TKBell" - which I just found. I have removed it from Delayed Startup and did a search for the file (which WinPatrol already had listed as 'file not found') and so far, no pop-ups. I appreciate all of your help in helping me solve this problem as well as giving me other new very helpful information! :)

That wasn't even listed in your msconfig screenshots. I'm glad that you where able to figure it out. :)
