Hello Madhur and Brink. I did try those options yesterday, but both Google and Bing had 'unavailable' noted. So I could do nothing. I decided to uninstall Photoshop Elements 10. I had just installed and registered that program. However during the download I constantly got error 213:11. The download finally installed the program but it had major problems. So I tried to uninstall elements, but did not succeed. The big problem there is that I did not first deactivate the program. I didn't know one had to do that. This is where the error 1310 popped up and told me that IE had reinstalled Bing. Only they had NOT. I could do nothing with it as it was unavailable. The attempt at uninstalling elements has landed me in the soup. I cannot reinstall it, so I can deactivate it and try another uninstall. When I put the download disk in, it attempts to uninstall instead of install. And this is not the only problem here, I also got a new Wacom Tablet Intuos5 small touch. That has a problem with the driver. A new driver was provided, but that crash dumps my pc. However, my attempts at uninstalling elements 10 have now resulted in IE9 putting Bing back as the search provider. I don't think I'll try to put my preferred Google back, (IE9 deleted Google). I shall try to manually uninstall elements and then contact Adobe. Any more advice would be most welcome.
