Heya, I have searched around the internet to try and solve my problem but have had no luck, hopefully someone here can help me. :)

I run a decent pc windows vista ultimate x64.
Also i have 2x 250gb Hard drives 1IDE and 1 Sata i believe.

Every now and then (usually when i leave it running on its own for a couple of hours)
my second hard drive just simply disappears from my computer, i cant seem to access it until i reboot my pc. It gets quite annoying because it does this sometimes when im working in Maya or photoshop so restarting is a pain. I am not sure why it does this; has anyone had the same problem??

I think you need to edit your power settings,

Control panel>classic view>power options>change plan settings>change advanced power settings expand hard disk and set turn off harddisk after policy to 10000 or more.

Post back the results :)
