ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

I've heard nothing but great review on them so far...

I had a look at that board and was thinking that was the one, but then I realized that it was Cross Fire and I wanted SLI, it is definitely a nicer looking board but shame it isn't SLI :(

Most of people had Over Heating issue with it and its a modded Striker II Formula. They had to create a better stock cooler for it. I guess its better now with the new stock cooler they installed in this one.

And also saw that people having Issues with ASUS+nForce Chipset. And by the way the price of Nvidia 780i is the same of P5N72-T Premium

xfx780iasusp5n72tes4.jpg

I agree that is a nice board and I was checking that out too, the only thing I liked more on the ASUS board is that it came with a half decent sound card and the FSB is 1600 o/c, but I am sure that either one would do that speed with ease, I am going to have to think about that one. thanks for all your help friend!!:)

Pooch, looks nice but if I were you I'd try to tuck those cables away on the far end of those ODD spaces (seen from this image) to make sure the air moved by the front fan can move all the way through your case, and not be impeted by all those messy cables. Nice case and like your workspace in the corner there..

Hey Amplid
Thanks
Those messy cables are a small headache as there are far to many of them, and short of cutting them off I'm not sure what to do,
the air flow is still good though, mainly thanks to the side fan. Main thing is it doesn't run hot. :)

Hi Freelancer

I don't know, the side fan cable (red and black) looks like it is going to the front of the computer, There are a lot of unused cables in there from the Psu that cause me problems as I dont know what to do with them:(

?? Have you got a picture?

behind the back wall would be out of my case!

No I think the answer would be to buy one of the newer PSU's where In can unplug all unecessary cables

I don't have a picture, but your motherboard screws into the panel I am talking about. I put my cables between that panel and the outer "shell" so to speak.

Have a Look at xguntherc's rig, it's somewhere in the thread here.. You'll understand what xen00b was talking about with the back panel and in my opinion it is a school example of great cable management...:p
You should be able to tuck away those unused cables in any case...

Such a difference.

Nice cosmo's. I want one.

and yes Amplid is right. if you can find some of my pictures they show some pretty decent cable management.. You think mine are School Worthy huh Amplid. lol thanks.

Here are some. but not the finished stuff.
http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/110939-show-us-your-rig-21.html

Theres also more pictures of my case, with the Mobo and a few parts in the case also on page 22.. you can look at those. I'm still looking for the final pic with the cables all hidden.

Ha. I found them. For whoever was wondering what they meant with cable management and putting them behind your Motherboard. you can put them behind the motherboard.. yet inside the back side panel.. I've found my finished product pictures.. I think page 26. go check them out under my name XGUNTHERC.. you'll see them. the one halfway down showing the backside of my case. thats how I did my cable management. not all can do it that way. I've sinced cleaned that up a little also. but check it out. that would help your system.

Have a Look at xguntherc's rig, it's somewhere in the thread here.. You'll understand what xen00b was talking about with the back panel and in my opinion it is a school example of great cable management...:p
You should be able to tuck away those unused cables in any case...
