It seems that the problem with bootable CD are connected to the bios.

Maybe the settings for my HDD need to change or upgrade my bios too.

If you know someone here whith hardware skills, let me know.

Hi Ashanta.

Can you manage to squeeze past the KSOD's and get the computer running? preferably with networking mode.

If yes, try this: http://drp.su/download.htm

If no, do you have another computer or laptop along with a USB drive so you can install some drivers?

That way you can manually install the correct video drivers from here: Fujitsu Drivers

Oh, I apologize, your English is very good so I thought that it was your first language.

What I meant was, can you start your computer in safe mode with networking?

EDIT: just saw your link now, the file is not a virus.

See here:

Its a trusted website.

The reason your virus scan detected some of the files is because the installer will ask you to download "Toolbars" and other unrelated softwares. You just have to choose "advanced installation" and uncheck the files you don't want downloaded.

Yes, I can start on SM with Networking.

About DriverPack Solution, I'm not confident. You can see on the Virus Total Page, that most of the well-known AV (Emsisoft, Eset Nod32, F-Prot, F-Secure, Fortinet, Gdata...) classified the DRPSu12.3-Lite-install.exe file as a malware.

I can suppose that Kaspersky Trusted Secure Mark is affixed for only the full version and not the little version.

I can't trust this program, sorry.

If it's about drivers concerns, I tried the Update program (that I can't remember the exact name) from the manufacturer Fujistu, and I have already all the latest drivers.

If you have another program, no problem for me if it's not infected of course.

I will let @PatonB take care of the thread, he probably has more knowledge than me when it comes to BIOS :)

I am unsure of why its showing up as a virus on your scans, it seems to be a large company, but I only have the lite version installed.

You can search google for drivers, as thats the same way I would find them.

Hi Patonb,

Yes, it was the same issue. I couldn't boot with my CD/DVD like Ultimate Boot, Memtest, Recovery DVD. After a few minutes, my laptop shut downs drastically. There is no more details. The only boot CD that were working was Ubuntu Live CD.

Since that time, I've not yet tried Ubuntu Live CD.

Hi tried HDD Regenerator under Windows and it doesn't detect any bad clusters.

Also, a few days ago, I run chkdsk /f /r and no bad clusters.

On today, I disabled AHCI on the bios, but no change, always KSOD.

I found the "Newest" BIOS
http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/Downl...FF_OS_Independent_(BIOS,_Firmware,_etc.)_True

You can use the windows exe one, very top choice, as long as your system will stay up for 5mins or more.

Just download unzip and run it, should do it.

I'm wondering if your motherboard has a crack in it or something thatkills it after it heats up.

Also on that d/l page is a utilities section with tools. Might want tgo get them too. They run off a floppy or cd.

When I click on your link, I get this page : Technical Support pages from Fujitsu

Where is you newest Bios ?

My Bios driver is B0G from27.04.2007.

That's it then. You have the newest BIOS.

I'm still leaning to a motherboard issue, as in maybe broke, as if you can't run on a livecd then its either ard drive, RAM, or a part of the motherboard.

You really need to see if running Ubuntu causes issues.

Try out the diagnostic tool for it, stupid fijitsu site htes linking, but navigate using "mobile -> former Avilio -> Pro V -> 3505

Then OS INdependant.
