Sidebyside Configuration Error- NEED HELP!

Hi there guys.

One of my applications, Microsoft Flight Simulator X was working normally for awhile until I encountered a problem where it says the application could not start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. I cleaned everything up by doing "sfc /scannow" in Command Prompt and it solved the problem.

However, when I tried to open up Microsoft Flight Simulator for the second time, the error occurred again. Can I please help some advice on how to stop this re-occurring problem?

Thanks,
Jozef

Ok Thanks, but I currently don't have the money to buy a stronger graphics card if necessary and I'm not sure if this relates to the side-by-side configuration error? FSX worked great on my PC, no lag, with a nVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 430. But hey, I'm am no PC expert especially with gaming aspects. That's why I'm here to ask about this problem...

Hello!

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for your patience. Firstly, I want to see what SFC was actually doing.

Please copy C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log to your Desktop, right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, and upload that new file here.

Thanks!

Richard

Hi there guys!

I just reinstalled FSX and it runs fine, however, I won't keep my hopes up. it could happen again. Thanks niemiro, I will keep that in mind if happens again in which that we can fix it for good. For now, it's fine.

Cheers,
Jozef

I suppose I'll upload the CBS compressed folder anyway. It's attached to this now.
