Slow Boot Vista Ultimate

May i suggest Black Viper's Web Site as a source of speediness in regards to boot and shutdown. My boot and shutdown times used to be around 30-40 seconds but now i can shutdown in less than 10 seconds and boot in about 25.

Just a word of warning...

Although most settings @ blackviper have been thoroughly tested by many people i would still use EXTREME caution and if you don't understand what something does then DO NOT DISABLE IT. Learn more about the service or process and then make an informed decision.

Alright... I have the SAME exact (nearly) issue here. Running Vista Home Premium.

The log On/Reboot process takes 10-15 MINUTES at a time.

My Netlog looks nearly identical to the Original poster's Netlog.

I don't know how to post the Code like he did, but here's a Copy (or where my laptops STOPS loading drivers).

Both logs show the nettun.inf driver as the CULPRIT.

WTF(udge) is this nettun.inf driver and WHY is it refusing to LOAD ????
