I thank you all for your input. My first post stated that Combofix had affected some of my settings. I also had the same thing happen when i used a Registry cleaner called Regcure. My printer had to be reinstalled. Its a Canon MP 480. I think this forum does a splendid job. I posted my problem on a few other Pc help sites and i only got one reply and that was to use Combofix. When it affected my printer i never replied but then i was running Avg Antivirus and was told to uninstall it while using Combofix. It lookslike some of AVG remailed on the computer as i had uninstalled from all programs and not the AVG cleaner. I will now do a factory reset and i daresay now that i have found you i will do has Arnold Schwarzenegger said "Ill Be Back" Thanks again.
