OK, so I tried to do the system restore in Safe Mode, and this is the error I get:
"To perform an offline System Restore, you must specify which Windows installation you would like to restore.
For example, if the installation located in "C:\Windows" should be restored, enter the following command:
rstrui.exe/OFFLINE:C:\Windows"
When I try to run that, it says "There was an unexpected error: The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057) Please close system restore and try again."
Any thoughts on what to try next?
