After more inspection I have found that the causes of the random freezing is overheating...

Hmm...
I've had CPUID Hardware Monitor, CPU-Z and task manager open looking at what it is reading out. All the temps look normal, there's no 100% CPU, it idles around 20-30%, ram is okay, idling on 1.19GB/2.00GB.
I did however find out that I actually have 3GB or ram in my system, but Windows only shows 2GB, maybe it don't like it because it's unbalanced...

It all seems okay now, maybe it was just a freak out... :huh:

EDIT:
Been running for just under an hour now and no crashes/freezes.
I think it was just a freak out...
Although, earlier when I was cleaning it I took the heatsink off my video card, as I posted post #23 I took the heatsink off it again and put a tiny bit of thermal compound on there because it looked like it needed some. And now it works, maybe it was an overheating issue, but surely an overheated video card wouldn't cause the whole system to freeze up, I mean, even caps lock light wouldn't come up....

I had problems with overheating once! Got a reading of 128C This seems very, very high (even for my GPU) Opened the case, stuck my hand on the outer GPU case - owwww! It was hot! Very hot! Just not quite 128C.

Woah! HW Monitor was saying that it was around 50-60 degrees. Luckily I managed to boot it and get them programs up before it crashed, so when it did crashed I could look for any anomalies since it just froze up. It's strange because everything looked okay...

Much better - but they're very dark and ominous. Do they represent characters I don't recognize or are they just unknown images? I like 7 better than 8 if only due to the fact that it took me several seconds to realize 8 was actually a face and not some type of rorschact test image. I still like your current one here better than either of the others.

Anyone who has not watched Avatar has to. It is a movie for adults as well as kids. Make sure you watch it in 3D. Many 3D movies are things people don't like - this is the only movie that you have to watch in 3D. Also, see if you can see it in the cinema.

Don't get put off by the fact that they look odd. It is an incredible film. I would say, and many other would agree, that it is the best film ever released. It took the world by storm. It is a story of humans in the future. They travel to another planet, wanting to mine some new mineral element. However, there were these natives there. There are all these amazing plants and massive mountains. The plants literally glow.

Images like this literally come alive in the cinema. The whole film is like it. And then there these massive drops, which the 3D brings to life. These diplomatic humans basically become like the blue natives and try to negotiate something. They actually manage to become friends. But then the military man come in with his weapons and battle ships and he just destroys the entire planet.

I have managed to make it sound very flat. There is such emotional depth to the film that I have to insist that you watch it ;)

I've seen the first half of it twice. Both times I got called away to do chores and before I could get back to watching it, it had reset and I could no longer resume from where I had left off. I fast-forwarded the second time to about where I was and saw a bit more and then got called away again. Still haven't finished it but did enjoy the parts I watched. I will eventually get to see the entire thing (160 minutes I think) if I don't wait so long it no longer available on cable - or need to wait until it returns (and I've never bought a video in my life and it's much too late here for it to still be in any theatre). I don't know about "the best movie ever" - but what I've seen so far puts it high on my list (and perhaps higher once I've seen it all). I'll let you know when I've seen the entire thing.

Well, Milwaukee finally has it's first snow of the season and it's mighty beautiful! But why does it have to storm when I have to fly across the country --- don't like flying in snow storms! My flight's not until Monday morning --- maybe the storm will have blown over by then. (No pun intended. . . lol)
