does it work in media centre

there is a newer version on the twinhan site 3.3build 08a

Okey, i have just test the newer version (3.3build 08a) and the result was better but not a sucsses. Media Center and DigitalTV didn't find any tv channels but it did not stop running/responding.

It's wierd becous i have everything pluged in, tv cable, the digital card and the installation did well.

When im searching it completes the search i halv second and find nothing. It's like it not searching.

What can be the problem now? :O

i think there is filters or something that doesn't load i get the same thing with channels not scanning until i run the exe for the drivers for my pciE tv dual tuner then digital tv can scan channels its weird if want to try it go to digital now site DigitalNow and try to install the exe for DNTV Live! Dual Hybrid PCIe S2 it might install far enough to fix your problem might not depends what else its installing

ps i only get this problem with a install disk thats had the sp1 incorporated into it
when i use the original install disk this problem doesnt happen digital tv works straight away but i have the 878a card

go to the twinhan site and get the capture tool at the botom of the page and run that and see if it works if it does try digital tv again

get the terrestrial database as well and copy it manually and see how you go

When i using the capture tool i can read

DBA Filter: DTV-DVBT 878 Digital Tuner Filter
Driver info: driver ver.0000 FW ver.0000
Device info: 00-00-00-00-00-00
............

and at the bottom, Terrestrial BDA device found.

The tool didn't help me... when i scan for chennels whith Digital TV i get the same result, 0 channels.

I downloaded the DNTLive! 1.3.2 to see if that shuld work. When i started the program i get two error messeges that says invalid date and time, the other says somthing about Acces violation at adress 007BC28F in module 'DNTVLive.exe' Read of adress 00000000.

I just pressed OK to pass the errors and then a window for channel search pop up and in the field for TV card selection shows to be empty.

Nothing did work... Maybe its somthing with the driver?

When i press tune, nothing happens...

No channels found...

the date error for dntv is becuse your puter is set to show the american date format you need to change it to aus format day month year
you have it set for month day year

did the tool let you record a channel ?

Okey i have solved the bigger problem now. My solusion was to reinstall my OS (Vista Premium x64) and poff, it just started to work. I can now watch on all tv programs in the DigitalTV program from TwinHan. But..... the pay channels wont work in Media Center, ony the free channels.

I have tried to run the pay channels in MCE with the MCE Console (DVB MCE CI Plug in) but it stops working when MCE is streaming the channel.

So, when i start a pay channel in MCE with the Console in background, the channels starts and the Console stops running/responding.
