Hi, Finn, and welcome to the forums.

Do you perchance have an older Beta version already installed?

go to control panel click on uninstall (we're not uninstalling anything (yet)), click on view updates on the left. This should show if an earlier version was installed. If so, uninstall it and install latest version as usual.

Same for me, thats 2 updates lately mess up.

One for the XBOX extender that I do not even have and now this.

I do not have any older builds and do not even use/like Windows Search (hidden update for now), as Raptors in Raid 0 are loud enough without the HDD chattering away all the time indexing.

My Computer

I did check and did not find any earlier version. Not anything which is related to vista search. Is this update necessary?

My Computer

Doubt it as not Crtical and I have again Disabled Windows search for less HDD activity.

It takes 5secs longer to find my Pr0n without it and without the HDD Indexed. ;)
