Vista 32-bit memory question

mine was decent but don't have enough memory to play crysis 2 even though I've put a extra 2gb in. I wouldn't mind getting 64 bit vista if i didn't have so much stuff on my PC

I just got told that the maximum memory supported by Vista 32 bit premium is 3.5gb RAM, minus the Graphics card which is 768MB = with is about 2732MB RAM.

Does this sound right?

Looks like I'm going for 64-bit Windows, should I stick with vista or try 7?

That sounds about right robert7lee.

Maximum you can put in 32bit machines is 4gig. So minus the 'running costs' that sounds reasonable.
I have a win7 64bit, as well as my basic.
You, if i'm correct, with that machine want to go 'Gaming".
I personally in that position would go for 64bit. win7.

In 64 bit......more gigs for gaming 6gig -8gig. depending on what games.

But your choice, look into it a bit more.
Other members may have their opinions also.

Go to the Gaming Section of the Forum, last nght I was discussing gaming rigs, ckeck it out.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers
