I'm sure things will be fine - but I hope Richard saw my last post as I need to know that by reinstalling & writing the MBR in EasyBCD, whilst in the Vista OS, that the MBR and/or Windows Boot Manager will effectively change over to the Vista partition

I cannot tell for sure. I would imagine yes, but I cannot be 100% certain. I have never tried this before, because I have always just broken and fixed it when in this situation. Have a Windows DVD to hand, just in case, re-write the MBR in EasyBCD, and then just take the bait.
