Hello!
I also would very strongly recommend the removal of registry cleaners.
There are more details here, because this question was mirrored on SF:
Solved Maybe a Vista Question but do they know ? - Windows 7 Forums
However, we will try to help you. What files or registry keys are locked. There are such things as locked registry keys - I first found out a lot about them in my malware removal degree. However, we need a few clues as to what??
Thanks!
Richard
Today no locked files where found in Uniblue
because I chosed Ignore locked files
as I told you before,
then they will not pop up as locked in Uniblue ,
but I asked Uniblue support about that .
They said that it can be a configuration issue in Vista.
What I want to know is to do config.
but also find out which files that was ignored by me.
They do not show up as locked anymore in Uniblue then.
I can wait until next time one other locked file pops up
in Uniblue and there was one description about that
in the Register booster before the cleaning action,
but I want to know if there is a way now,
to locate locked files in Reg-edit with my eyes maybe with your help.
Thats what I asked Uniblue for tomorrow to be answered by them.
I was concerned that it might be something like a virus in the Register.
Is there a way to scan with Microsofts Security Essential only in the Register.
Is that a bad idea. When I try to find the filelocation for register by rightclicking ,
it does not show up the editor. I dont know what to say.
I of course can open it from the startmeny
but scanning register is maybe what full scan is doing.
Maybe this is not a virus either
