Solved vista ultimate 32bit and ultimate 64bit

thanks for the video that makes it look very easy to install :) no problem as long as you have the screw driver a 5 minute job if that.. mine has two x 2gb memory.. are the memory now for 8GB i would put two 4GB or can you buy just on with 8GB maybe keep one of the 2's in there and have 10GB or buy a 4GB on its own and have 6GB i think even 6GB would be plenty for me

Your computer's specs are not real specific, but most likely it means you can have up to 8 GB of RAM with 4x2GB sticks. Open the panel to be sure. If you have 4 slots for RAM sticks, then it is 4x2GB. If you only have 2 slots, then it is 2x4GB.

If it is DDR2 RAM, then you are better off with either 4GB or 8GB since it runs faster when installed in pairs.

UPDATE:
I found these manuals in PDF files for your specific computer model to help.

looks like its a matter of opening up the bottom parts to see which is the ram, he says most likely the middle, so well see. hopefully its 4x2GB the store in town only sells up to 2GB

just opened it up and its two slots it has, two 2GB on on top of the other so it looks like i would need 4GB two of them.. i tried to take out the ram but the guy made that video look much easier then what it is to remove the ram from the lap top, i was afraid i would break it so i left it in.

I don't think I've ever seen a laptop with 4 ram slots. That along with the fact that a 2GB dimm is dramiatically cheaper than a 4GB dimm is why they sweet spot for RAM is 4GB on a laptop.

That explains the higher price to add the two 4GB sticks then. I would say that 4GB is enough RAM though. :)

I found these two links, but it looks like you have already figured it out for them though.

btw what ever happened to outlook express? i cant seem to find it anywhere for vista or am i just blind? lol

i was wondering also how did you do them screen dumps from windows not logged in to show the step by step to format new?

Windows Mail is the new Outlook Express in Vista.

I also run Vista from a virtual computer in Virtual PC so that I can get those type of screenshots. It's basically running another Vista in a window inside Vista.

Though Vista x64 will use all of 6 GB of ram (running a new HP Pavillion d5200t 'Elite')
as a web designer I discovered Yahoo's SiteBuilder is NOT compatible with V x64. Any work-around? ALSO...Gmail isn't displaying attachments in mail. This common?
Thanks,
Ron.
