vista32 audio "stutter"

Hello. I don't want to be rude and hijack tooze's thread, but I have almost exactly the same problem. I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 (64 bit). The operating system has just been reinstalled and now the audio is stuttering. I was wondering if it was a software issue or if there is something wrong with the soundcard.

Also, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and disabling enhancements. The SFC scan came up with no violations. I tried disabling all of the startup services and the audio seemed to be fine when I disabled the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. Could that be causing the problem?

Hello and welcome to the forums

Don't worry, it's not rude at all :)

It would be best if you started your own thread :) This way the help you receive will be specific to your problem. Post a link to your thread on this thread and I'll come and have a look for you. This Intel Matrix Storage Manager revelation does sound interesting!
