Is Win Mail the outlook express replacement..

I've never used outlook much till I got it with my work...

I've used hotmail since '97, so i'm mail browser deficient.

I might be a poor one to be answering your questions, but yes, I believe Windows Mail is relacement for Outlook Express and pretty much the same program.

Personally, I find Windows Mail (and previously Outlook Express) so much more user friendly and just plain USABLE. I have a Hotmail account only so that I have the Live sign-in. I've used Yahoo also. I know many don't like Windows Mail (WM) or the previoius Outlook Express (OE). When Vista came out WM replaced OE, and with Windows 7 WM is done away with and no like replacement. I'm going to be very sad when I have to lose WM, but at this point I think I will be trying IncrediMail; it is most like OE and WM.

I'm still waiting for Lorien to tell me how I can use Revo to go back and remove Word items when the main program is no longer on my computer.

Oh, I didn't realize. Run Revo like before and hopefully it will still identify Microsoft Word 2002 as an option that can be uninstalled. If not, then there's no way to do it (without re-installing it or using System Restore to go back to before you uninstalled it and then use Revo to do it fully this time - but if you installed OpenOffice in the meantime, a System Restore will remove that as well so you'll need to do it again). If so, then just re-run the program. It will tell you it can't find the uninstall program to complete the first step but allow you to click on Next to get to the Registry cleaning section and once you've deleted those items in bold ONLY (nothing else - be sure it is only the bolded items and that they seem to have to do with the program) click next and you'll be given a listing of directories which contain info from the program. Check those which obviously apply to the program (you can bypass any you're not certain about but most will apply) and then delete them and that will take care of that.
