Whats your internet speed?

Wow! My speed can reach 3.5MB/s from microsoft.com - Often from download.com I get 4MB/s+! It's on Bigpond Cable (As much as I HATE telstra!!) theyre fast. Most torrents download at 1MB/s+

heh - my download is awesome but my upload is crap. I am jonesing for either Verizon FiOS or else a company like the one in New York to come down here and give Cox a run for its money....

But, see, I really cannot complain - I pay for 12 Mbps..... :P

May 27th, 06:17PM - 75/24 kbps

I'm on HughesNet satellite... the "actual" speed changes by the minute, but those are random results from hughes own speed tests. Typically if I wait until after midnight the speed goes up to over 900kbps, which is close enough to the 1mbps we are paying for. All other times it's like expensive dial up that frees up your phone line.

Meh, it looks alright, but I don't see anything even remotely close to that when I'm actually using it. Bell thinks its alright to shape my traffic, and the traffic for everyone else on the network..
