Why Did You Become a Member of Vista Forum

I joined mostly for the Windows7 part. There I am a bit more active. But since I just now operate on my Vista system (which I had not touched in 7 months), I thought I call in over here. It is a real pleasure to be on either forum (including the 8 forum).
PS: My Vista updates are running forever - LOL

This is probably the best place to ask for help on your PC, community-wise. That's why I joined.

During the month after I first installed vista, I kept googling certain features/services/problems that I needed more info on. 96% of the time a result pointing to a post here would appear at the top and provide the info/help I needed. Not only that, but vista was and still is the best O/S i've ever used that I enjoy discussing and sharing info with others.

Also, the community is one of the best around.

I joined Vista Forums because I was having some problems with Vista and the techs here were so very helpful and knowledgeable . I never had to wait hours or days for their replies. I liked it here so I stayed. I have learned a lot here at these forums. They are also respectful .

I joined because it became clear to me that responsive Vista knowledgeable people reside here, after many searches across various Internet forums. I also came to find that people are usually very friendly here as well; no egotists who crave constant stroking.

I'm not an avid participant, as there are a couple of other forums (on other subjects) which occupy my time more. But I try to make an effort to come by once in a while, even if I don't have an issue needing attention.
