It's been many years since I've heard of the "copy binary" command. Seems I used that for something. Maybe when I was running DOS.

Unfortunately there's a disdain for the command line in Windows culture. Linux, otoh makes full use of command line tools. Many things beyond the capacity of most Windows text editors are simply one-liners using sed or awk in Linux.

If you have a .flv file, you can put it on any computer and edit it with the appropriate software. No other files are needed.

Well from personal experience an flv file is generated when compiling a flash project. I am aware of no other ways of generating or editing them.

Hi Townsbg- I agree with the part about generating a .flv but Nero can edit a .flv with no other files available. I assume the other software I mentioned, as well as others, can also do that. Perhaps your view on what editing means and mine are different.
