Yesterday I installed Kodak EasyShare software and had problems with it. Today when I booted I notice that I have that red icon with the white X showing Windows Security Alert. When I open that it says that Windows Defender and Spyware Doctor are turned off, and that is the way it has always been and is supposed to be.
I have BitDefender Internet Security 2009 and it shows that "No issue affects your computer."
I deactivated Windows Defender right from the beginning, and altho I have Spyware Doctor, it does not run at start up and none of the real time protection is enabled even when I do open it and updated it to run a scan.
I figured this must be another one of those problems with EasyShare so today I used Revo Uninstaller and removed that software, but after reboot I'm still showing this Windows Security Alert.
Can anyone tell me what to do about this?
