If you are ready with the linux disc you can restart your computer and before the windows starts to load press F8
If windows attempts to start do it again
You will only be able to use the arrow keys and need to go to the boot options
change it to boot from a CD/DVD
put in the linux disc and restart
The windows folder can be accessed just like any other folder
You can also save any data you want to another drive or USB stick
Then we can do more without the risk of loosing your data.

Sorry I missed this post
You have a linux live CD downloaded to a USB stick
Start your computer and before it gets to windows press F8
go to boot options (you will have to use arrow keys as no mouse driver is loaded)
Set the USB option to the top of the list
Insert your USB and restart your computer
It should run the live CD you loaded
Remove any data you want to keep
All windows files can be accessed like any other file as they are not in use.
Once again very sorry I missed this.
Please PM me in future as I am all over this forum and may miss you again.
