WinVista Update to Sp2 and One care reg clean - now issues with accessing files

Hi -
OS currently is - WinVista Business SP2 + acouple little updates it gave.

my update to SP2 went smooth as well as the other updates it called for after words

Went to One Care did a scan to clean up the Registry went smooth (found 29 errors)

but.... i just noticed that though i am logged in the acount; and the account has Admin privlages; and the folder shows i have full permissions as Admin - "Access is denied for current user" keeps popping up when attempting to open the folder - it will let me add to the folder but will not let me access the folder. Namely "My photos" and "My Music". at this point that is all that i noticed thus far, also they [the folders] are greyed out...

(and i have no clue as to when this happened as i've been updating to sp1 through sp2 and letting One care clean the Registry all night and this morning)

Any suggestions as to what happened and how to correct this issue, perhaps even batch correct the system for all folders for this account - especially if there are more folders i'm denied access to this way and i haven't found yet - i'd like to take care of all of them at once rather than going to each folder as i find them and making corrections indivdually.

thanx

My Document,My Music,My Picture are junctions and even Administrators have permissions:deny list folder data

It is normal -these junctions relate to folders Documents,Music<Pictures...

full of threads about this:

Not sure if i follow what your saying and the example you linked was someone trying to access the folder via server. and they stated that the problem was via a nic card or network adapter? - can't remember.

I'm on a single user Laptop.

I had no problems accesing the pictures music folders prior t my updates.

I did also notice that i have no problems accessing them via the start up -> Photos or Startup ->Music - only when i attempt to access via startup -> computor -> photos or startup-computor ->Music do i recieve a popup deniing access - I can't access pretty much any folder from Startup-> Computor explorer. Not program files etc.

I did read in the interum of posting till now that SP2 update has a flaw and changes Group policies in some way that causes this issue or something like it.
- actually wipes them out in some cases usually on Business and Ultra - MS is aware supposedly. There are some hacks to this but usually with more problems attached. They mention CSE these guys were server techs and what they re talking about is way over my head tech knowledge wise.

so... i don't know you say it's common and the way it's supposed to be... i can't imagine that MS would have a folder for you to store Photos and Music in and then deny the user access... or and especially ifthe user is an admin to deny access to the folder via Computor Explorer - - doesn't nor would it make any sense to set it up that way - wouldn't you agree?

And since i didn't have problems before accessing those folders via computer explorer menue - i would have to say difinitivly that is not how it is supposed to be - but who am i to say anything... i don't know Vista, let alone Vista sp2. I only know what once worked, now does not.
