Wireless issue

Hi everyone,

Hopefully someone can help me. I recently re-installed Vista onto my Samsung laptop due to a problem, however today after updating the drivers etc, when I try to connect to my wireless it won't access the internet. It finds the wireless, connects but no internet. However, it will access the internet when the security is open, but when it's secured via wap, wpa2 etc, no chance. It says 'unidentified network, local access only'. My other laptop connects no problem, I have updated the Netgear firmware etc.

Thanks in advance :)

Your computer connected just fine before the reinstall, right? Try connecting it via and actually Ethernet cable instead of over wifi and tell me if that works.

Also, how old is your computer?
