perhaps if you downloaded and installed everything from Essentials 2011 the problem would resolve, as the issue may be some file (or the lack of some file) in one of the other programs.
That is a good idea, but i'm sure uninstalling it will leave a "mess" on my machine. i do not need all parts of "live essential" BUT i'll consider it .
To isolate your issue further, please try performing clean installation of Windows Live Messenger:
i did it already 3 times even with revo and it did not help .
2. Reproduce the Issue
for that i'll have to uninstall WLM again as animation works good/fully only one time right after installation and not afterwords upon exit and resigning again...
_________________________________________________________________________
Before i'll uninstall/install again -PLEASE answer back in your WLM thread :
1-that i installed only the messenger part and if it is necessary to downloaded and installed everything from Essentials 2011?
2-do i need to install it as (right click) admin even though i am the admin on my machine?

after you'll get an answer -we'll figure the next step.

Thanks again for your time/consideration and effort .

p.s- no progression in my thread :(
as i already did try it

Hi prukeyhi,

I think that would be a mistake based on who we're dealing with. We're going to get ONE shot with these people (they aren't like we are here - they ignore people all the time - even some who do respond timely and as they request). If we question their responses, they'll just stop responding and they are pretty much our last hope. We've gotten uncommon attention (two support people with personal links included) - so let's not waste it. Even though you've done some of it before, please do exactly what they asked (and the other stuff too - using run as administrator does help even if logged as an administrator and I've seen that too many times to doubt it is true in some cases though not certain here - but if they suggest it, please do it as it somethimes really does make a difference {e.g., with iTunes and Quicktimes I've seen quite often)).

But post back to me as you can't get to the part to reply properly to them in my thread there. We need to get them those logs and the other information and confirmation of yet another attempt and if you don't re-install and just do the other parts and the logs precisely as requested, that will be apparent I believe from the information in the logs and again they will cut us off. I'll do what you ask if you insist, but again, they aren't like we are (and certainly not like I am) and I am all but certain it will harm or end our efforts there and we are making progress. If I asked for logs, it would mean I was truly interested in the case and wanting to solve it and trying my best to get to the bottom of things - and they have done that!!

BTW, they never suggested installing all of Essentials (it's not in their post) - I did. So I can answer that and say not unless you want to do it and probably not until we've reached the end with these people.

Thanks - and the sooner we reply, the better chances we have they too will respond quickly (or at all). They will measure the level of importance to place on it by the measure of importance we put on it. They know you've tried before and have asked it be done again - probably to make the logs current (and include any recent updates) or maybe just to give it another shot as they may not believe you actually did it even once (and again, they will probably be able to tell from information in the logs).

Good luck!

Thanks, prukeyhi. I was able to use Bing Translator to read the thread (well, most of it anyway). I still can't figure out how Dave found the thread here, but he did and posted it as a resolution in that thread (and it looks like you marked it as the answer), so it's good to be recognized in the Technet forums. Maybe more people will see this Forum as a good source of answers and that benefits everyone.

Thanks again!

P.S. Though obviously not in the Hebrew version (I can sort of get by in French in an emergency, but even then I usually use the Translator if I can - I'm pretty much English only), I have posted before in the Technet Forum under a different name - both to answer questions and to ask questions. I have marked answers there - but this one is special and although not tied to my Technet username, it is appreciated above all the others.

I know dave for years, he's a good supporter and probably while trying to look for an answer in my thread,
he googled some key words and got here :) .
And yes, i marked it as the answer.

I do hope so !
