Good day,
I currently have a pretty nice setup using my xbox360 as a media center extender -- I download movies to my computer in the office and through the home network I play them on my den's TV through the 360 (using the computer as the decoder).
Here is my issue: when I first got this computer about a year ago I made my 150G Raptor the C: drive and I put all my media files on my 1TB drive. Made perfect sense to have the fast HD for OS and applications and put media files on the large HD. Unfortunately when I did this, the Xbox could only look in the c:\users\mike\video folder to find my videos so all my movies on the 1TB D: drive were unaccessible.
Since that was an issue, I reinstalled Vista on the 1TB HD making that my C: drive and haven't had problems since. I'm about to do some computer maintenance anyway and would love to go back to my original set up with the Raptor holding my OS, does anybody know if MS has fixed this issue, or am I stuck searching for videos on the C:\users\mike\videos folder?
Thanks
