Hi everyone!
Yesterday I switched from x86 to x64 Vista Business. I did it because of upgrading from 2GB to 6GBs RAM. Install and updates went fine and then I saw, task manager detects only 5Gigs of ram. So I went to BIOS and set memory remap to Enabled.
And after than, Vista detects all 6Gigs but have a random freezes after about 5 to 10 minutes running. I have the latest drivers, updated system and latest BIOS.
My specs:
Asus P5B
Core 2 Duo E6300 @ 1,8 GHz (default)
2GB goodram + 4GB corsair, both 800 MHz
320GB Seagate HD
420W LC power supply
PCI-e nVIDIA GeForce 7600GT
Optiarc DVD-RW
X-Fi xtreme music
Realtek WLAN PCI card
I've test my memory with vista memory test and didn't find any errors.
Please for your help, I don't know where to look for problems. I was searching something about PAE but didn't tried it yet.
I think is something about memory remap or something like that.
Thank you!
