Hi. I'm desperate...
I can't resolve my problem after many help requests to many forum. I hope in this specialized forum...

Before I' had a PC with XP SP2 and my 3 pendrive worked normally (I added a Chipset Via Usb 2.0 controller, too). Now I've changed PC with Vista HP SP1 64 and the same Chipset Via Card(Vista compatible). Often when I try to access data I get an APPCRASH error but after data seem OK. If I run a chkdsk command the error disappear, but after it cames back . At first I though the problem was Chipset Via Card but using the mother board USB input, the problem remain. I dont't understand neither if the problem is pendrive (3 different ?!), Chipset Via Card, or Vista.
I hope in a your help, please Best Regards

First off welcome to the Vista Forums! The main problem you are running into when upgrading into the 64bit or even with the 32bit editions of Vista is that exFat as well as Fat32/16 is no longer seeing native support. Instead Vista relies on NTFS 5.0 the native file system for NT cored versions of Windows.

The fast and easy solution to see all 3 pen drives readily available is a slight detour into the Vista Disk Management tool. Once there you simply right click on each pen drive's partition displayed under "removable" and select the format option to reformat them to NTFS. From then on you will have ready access to them even if XP was still on in a dual boot setup.
