Greedy,rude,obnoxious people is all it is. No amount of money saved is worth it after that experience. People are jerks, plain and simple.
I knew it about 10 minutes in that I was going to leave the store seriously pissed.
The line was from the checkouts all the way around to the back of the store,and across( think of the shape of a question mark).
One woman ruined it all. I was attempting to get to the other side of the line, which was cutting off the electronics department. Trying to squeeze through the line that was there, she actually had the nerve to push herself forward to make sure I didn't get in line ahead of her and said "you can go to the back like everyone else". Apparently she didn't notice that I didn't have anything in my possession to even buy at that point.
So, I looked at the guy behind her and asked if I could squeeze through to the other side. He pushed back and made room as I glared at the woman while squeezing through.
After that, seeing 2 yelling matches between customers, I left and said screw it, wasn't worth it.
I'll pay more the day after and keep my sanity, thank you......(and no, this wasn't even Wal-Mart....I wouldn't dare go there that day.)
So, on Still-Sane Saturday, I got my kid a new DVD player, new earphones for his iPod, and a $99 iPod dock/CD/Clock/Radio for $49.
