New Please Help

Hey im new here and ive been wanting to Underclock for specific reasons but thats not the point. When I boot up my pc I get into setup (which im pretty sure is bios :P) but there is none of the settings I need to change.. for example Front End Bus or Core voltage or Frequency voltage my Clock speed whats going on? I bought my cpu built already so.. I dont know if that has something to do with it but this is really bugging me out can anyone help me?

you can't change things like that in the bios if you are on a laptop.

you can't change things like that in the bios if you are on a laptop.

Im on a desktop :(

What is the make and model of your PC ?.
A lot of manufacturers lock the Bios, to stop people messing up and/or OCing, or in your case UCing.
Can i just ask, why do you need to UC ?.

Well I play a few different PING related games and the host of em arent all from USA so of course the ping will be high. Underclocking causes the difference in ping to not matter.. For example in ill hit someone but they wont get hurt because of ping. When my system is underclocked they will get hurt. Or OC in high graphic games like darkfall. Im trying to learn :P

Also my brother's pc overheats a lot, his fans makes a lot of noise and it might help him. It gets pretty hot here in south fl.

Your Bios will be locked, so you cant adjust anything worthwhile.
You could try turning down the graphics on your games, that might help.

No, its locked by the manufacturer. You may be able to tweak bits of it, but not the bits you need to OC/UC.
