windows vista home premium won't go to sleep automatically

it goes to sleep fine when i put it to sleep manually, but it does not go to sleep automatically as it should after 20 minutes, which is what i have it under in the power options. can someone help? thanks.

yeah i tried that already and it didn't help one iota. i think that advice was intended mainly for computers that go to sleep but wake up inappropriately, whereas my computer goes to sleep fine if you do it manually, but does not go to sleep automatically.

Be sure that the monitor is set to go off about 5 minutes before sleep.

it appears that i have fixed the problem by disabling a startup on my computer, namely the logitechquickcam thing, hope it doesn't **** up my computer though.

You may have to log in to the quick cam manually when needed, not a problem.
