Solved Can windows 95 games work on vista?

I want to buy Final Fantasy 7, which is windows 95 compatible, and I was wondering would it work on my laptop? I have vista home premium 32bit.

166MHz Pentium CPU, 32 MB RAM, 4X CD-ROM drive, DirectX 5.1 compatible sound and video card, 260 MB available hard disk space, Windows 95 or above (officially not compatible with NT 4.0 or 2000)

Please note the Windows 95 or above part, I think that you should be alright

Again it should work if you can get the installer running because most windows 95 discs are 16 bit installers

Well you learn something new every day I would rep you, but I repped you yesterday or so

Seeing as we should have a software compatability, the question is now with the hardware, such as the optical drive, the disc etc.

Yeah i tried installing Microsoft visieo the version when 95 came out but i didn't work on windows 7 because the installer was 16 bit
