I think this is a bug in Vista .

Now we tried all sorts of research but the main problem still exist

Vista Home Premium will not function on USB mouse and keyboard

through the switcher Aten Master View DVI KVMP CS1784

without doing enabel HSM + F5 that stands for enabel USB that have lost focus.

W7 32 and W7 64 works just perfect there

Otherwise our Vista has become just perfect now at last.

Is your Problem Solved??

If not could you go to Start>Control panel and search for Device Manger and then find your USb Mouse/Keyboard and right click it and click Properties after that click the Driver TAB and click Uninstall Driver

After that Restart your Computer and see if it works

Hope This Helps,
Josh

Hi,

Are you using this to the maximum capability i.e all channels & sound?
or
just the KVM options?

There are so many opportunities to fail here, we need to be clear as to how you are using this equipment.

We now have been on repare ,
but the shop could not find out
exept for what I had missed in the manual.
Mouse Emulation Control
The mouse is now working perfect after using
Mouse Emulation Control,
but the keyboard is still freezing
only in the Vista computer
even though its easily enabled
by invoking USB lost focus.
Why couldnt they have one
Keyboard Emulation Control
listed in the manual.
Have I maybe missed something
for this in the Vista configuration.

Hi,

Which of the configurations are you using?
We are using option nr 1 without Audio because audio is handled by other controlers optical A-DAT controlers
The problem was solved by itself when we enabeled IPv6 in the W7 64 and 32 in order to try the streaming option between them although we are going to continue to use workgroup in order to make Backups.
The Vista was for some reason blocked by the W7th computers or otherwise it was something else magic fixing from nowhere.
We keep the IPv6 enabeled for now then
