Windows Problem

Hi everybody

I hope everyone is fine


A friend of mine brought her laptop and the problem with laptop was the language

it was swedish and i tried a lot to change the OS language but couldn't

I have Windows 7 CD so i install it now the problem is all the drivers not working

Network Controller
Ethernet Controller
Web
everything

I tried to install it but failed

Now I wanna Return Computer Back To Factory Settings but how?

If i boot up the system by HDD it didn't boot

The computer doesn't have any cd at all

It is new Toshiba laptop





What should i do

If this information is not too old, it will work.

Turn off computer
Hold down the Zero key, while booting the computer.
You will lose your stuff.

Then we wait and hope.

New?? - With Vista, or Win7??

If the laptop came with Vista, and you're using a Win7 Retail or System Builder (or other machine's Recovery Disk) disk to reinstall, you may have screwed the Recovery partition, and then you're hosed.
You would need to contact Toshiba and order a set of Recovery disks from them, and borrow an external DVD player to install (or create a bootable USB stick following Toshiba's instructions.)

There is STARTUP REPAIR
SYSTEM RESTORE which windows to an earlier in time
SYSTEM IMAGE RECOVERY
WINDOW MEMORY DIAGNOSTIC
COMMAND PROMPT

these option won't take to factory recovery

Well then, I guess we just proved that Noel's conjecture was correct, the restoration partition has been removed in the installation process.

System Image Recovery may do it - depending on how Toshiba set it up.
Check the manual for details

What you should do is simple. If you boot from the CD and not the OS, you will have an awesome new OS, that works perfectly.
Ignore the title of this tutorial, follow its instructions. Make sure you are set to boot from the DVD.

I re install new Windows 7 also but the problem is most of the drivers are not installed and i couldn't find it those drivers online as well

When you install, do a clean install. Make sure that you are on the internet. Everything you need, for basicis, should get installed during the installation.
If not, look now for the drivers that are needed, save to a finger drive. You will be all set.

I Can't connect to internet that is the most irritating part of this installation

It shows no network
i go here there but no result

hmm i have to find out from another laptop because from this laptop there is no network to connect no wireless nothing

Get another computer, download all the needed drivers to a finger drive. You will be all set.
