Please help me! I'm desperate

Hi dear Vista Forum,
my os is Vista Business 32 bit.
This morning I've turned on my pc and there Was this problem:
Missing windows\system32\config\system
I've turned off the pc yesterday and it Was all ok, please help me.
I have businness DOC on my pc and I need of them.
I'm desperate, Sorry for my bad English but I'm Italian.

It sounds like your registry is corrupt. Did you shut the system down or just turn it off? I found a guide for you to try. windows system32 config system is missing or corrupt vista! - Microsoft Community

The problem is that I don't have vista cd and I don't know how I can do without it.
Any solution?

You may borrow a Windows Vista CD from a friend. The DVD could be any Edition of Windows Vista. If you do not have a DVD then contact the Manufacturer of the system and get a Disc.
