Viewsonic VX2025WM Monitor Driver

Hi Guys, I have no idea whats going on over at Viewsonic, however their support service is lacking some serious SUPPORT!!! Just the other day, I re-installed Vista 64 and had been happily using a x64 monitor driver for my VX2025WM, just before the re-install I decided to trall the net for latest drivers and deleted any old ones I had (stupid I know). Anyway on re-install with the latest unsigned driver - Standard_Monitor_Driver_Unsigned_Windows_x64 - Dated 04/10/2007, it is now telling me it cannot find my monitor. I've also tried the latest signed driver and this is not working either. I have tried a manual install from C:\Viewsonic and funny enough the monitor isn't even listed. I've asked Viewsonic for help with them replying asking me to download the latest unsigned driver (what the???) All I need is a copy of the previous unsigned driver to this one listed and I know 101% it will find my monitor and work, does anyone have it or know where I can find archived drivers, as Viewsonic have not responded to this request. Please help! Cheers in advance.

Ahh it's always the way... Just found the old (November x64) driver on DriverGuide.com and guess what, it WORKS!!! Tried updating manually to the new driver after I installed the old one and it's displaying a could not install new driver message. Bloody viewsonic, I HATE SUPPORT!!! Why do they treat us like monkeys???

Lol I just posted this in another spot, sounds like we are the same way, viewsonic isn't really impressing me with this support thing::

Same thing here, I wish I would have came across these forums earlier, I usually don't hunt forums but this sire is useful so far, I am running x32 Vista Ultimate, currently downloading x64 as we speak, I have a ViewSonic VX2025wm 21"widescreen LCD and have downloaded both their signed and unsgned versions for Vista, it sill shows up Generic PnP Monitor and only capable of 59 or 60, 75 makes it distort but still visible enough to set it back where it needs to be. I'm running ATI cat 7.5 w/ Radeon X1900XTX why cant I get better refresh?

I went to the viewsonic site, downloaded the unsigned x64, control panel would not install directly but now I am running an ATI X600. When I open ATI Catalyst control center I see that the PNP default monitor is replaced by my VX2025wm [Extended] and I am running 1680 x1050 at 60 hz which is clean and crisp while 1280 x1024 at 75 hz sucks.
I guess the important thing is that the ATI catalyst software gives you the opportunity to try many combos... catalyst version# 2007.0821.2146.36991 ( you think they can add any more numbers?)
Meantime at less than 200 bux better than cooking under my crt rays!

I just popped my cd in that came with the monitor and installed just fine in x64

Hey man,

I noticed this post and wondered if their is any chance I could grab a copy of the driver (64bit) you have for your VX2025WM.

I still have that monitor and have since lost the CD, however I've re-installed Vista x64 and can no longer get the one I downloaded to work, I have tried many again from different sites and all fail to load the x64 driver correctly.

I'm hoping you wouldn't mind, I would owe you one.

Cheers,
Trav
