sleep mode

When I first got my new computer home in Feb, 2008, my computer would go into sleep mode when it was not being used. The monitor will go into sleep mode but not the computer. Now it just stay on all the time. I checked the power options settings but there is no default setting. Currently mine is set to equal between performance and energy savings, three circles each. No big deal just wandering what could have changed it and why.

Check to make sure that you have the settings set like the recommended ones for Sleep in the Step Two section of this tutorial.

That did the trick thanks dude. BTW is there a specific site for all these tutorials I can reference for quick fix's.
