I feel so stupid, I didn't realize that OS meant Operating System. I am only on XP at the moment and will be upgrading to Vista. Was a bit leary to upgrade and find everything changed on my desk top. I have been told that the first versions were hard to get used to because of too many changes. I use Sonic to record music.
G'Day kowgal,..and with a name like that, are you from Waikato/Hauraki Plains?
Welcome to Vista Forums kowgal :D , and a Happy New Year from Aussie Mate!! Copying Photos to DVD/CD.
In Vista, copying Photo Files to a DVD or CD is a very simple process........It's just a matter of
drag and drop from one folder to another.
*Place the DVD or CD into the Slot or Tray [depends on your system] DVD/CD Drive, and close.
**Then open Windows Explorer for the DVD/CD Drive [mine is (E:/], and format the DVD/CD to your choice [You will be prompted for this].
***Open Windows Explorer for 'My Photograph Files'. Left click and hold any Folder, File or Photo, and then drag it across to the empty (?:/) Drive Folder.
****Release Left Click, and the Folder etc will load onto the DVD/CD.
*****When finished, Right Click an empty space in the (?:/) Drive Folder and select 'Eject' from the Drop-down Menu. The Drive will close the session and should automatically eject the DVD/CD at the finish........ That's it.
Your 'My Systems Specs'
It will also help the helper "

!!", if you just take a couple of minutes to read the Post info in the link at the bottom of my page, and then go to your
User CP [Control Panel - click on CP in bar at top of page] to put as much detail into your
'My System Specs', as you possibly can. It sure saves typing it out over and over again when you need assistance, and will often mean a quicker reply from the 'helpers'......"

!!!!"....Weird bunch that they are.
