0x0000000A BSOD error

Taking into assumption that overheating can damage your computer, since the ram sticks are overheating could it be the reason as to why errors show during the memory test? So far my friend only individually checked one slot with both ram sticks for two passes(he doesn't have enough time to do 8 passes) each and didn't find any errors. Currently we are testing the second slot and with 1 pass finished at the moment and no errors, I was wondering if the errors would appear during the a full 8 pass check because since the ram stick would be in the computer for around 10 hours compared to two hour checks we are doing at the moment, it would cause overheating because it's on and running for so long.

The only thing that I can tell you with less than about 8 passes the results can be wrong. It has happened many times.

So far after running two full 8 pass tests on my ram sticks both of them seemed to pass without a single error so I'm assuming that the error was caused by my motherboard slot error. Right now I'm currently using a slot that has no problems since I checked both my ram sticks on it and a new slot that I hasn't been checked.

No error has been discovered as of now.

Also by looking at the SpeedFan program you gave me, my "temp1" seems to be very hot, hotter than a normal ram would run cause it has the fire icon on it. Is there any way I could cool it down?

Well I did clean my hardware and I did see noticeable temp reductions so I'm really grateful I did that.

Having checked both the ram sticks and slots, I can safely say there is no problem with them. I really believe overheating was the main problem I had these BSODs. Ever since I cleaned my hardware I haven't had one since. Though it's only been two days so far so I can't be sure :)

Use and enjoy the computer, if no more BSODS your set. If you get more just post. Wish you luck
