Yesterday my PC froze and I restarted it.
It wanted to do a CHKDSK and it asked that it was recommended to do so I didn't cancel it.
But now when it starts it reaches to stage 1 3% at file 137069 or something like that.
My problem is... It doesn't finish it.
At a certain point it says . of 5 is done and than the system starts to start up and I get to the normal Vista Desktop.
But after a few minutes ((OR seconds, depends on the mood of the computer...)) it doesn't want to close programs anymore and at a certain point a black screen pops up with the message Failure -. Security Options.
Than it goes back to normal and the programs wich I wanted to close are closed, but this keeps going on and on and on...
Does anyone know how I get my PC back to normal again and let it finish my CHKDSK???
Thanks,
-Roger
