anyone to help out, i just tampered my permision rights on disk c and got a message access denied. i cant install, delete or do admistrator rights nor store anything. i just baught it last week, am so depressed. am just fed up with access denied yet am the only user

i have tried taknig over ownership but it seems this approach doesn't work on this problem this is because below the OWNER TAB it says: Unable to display current owner. when i try edit it says : cant open access controll editor. any other option? thanx

You might see if you may be able to in Safe Mode logged into the built-in Administrator account. If that does not allow you to, then you may need to reinstall Vista.
