Hi guys ,

I am not professional in IT , but i can manage my self by following each step that you will recommend me to do to get these three drivers installed on my laptop.

My laptop is HP Pavilion G6 1250ee , I used to have windows 7 home premium 64 bit on it , but i installed windows vista ultimate 64 bit service pack 1 , which i use it for a while and wont update it to service pack 2 in this period . I am facing problems of these three drivers for windows vista 64 service pack 1 :

Standard VGA graphics adapter driver

BCM20702A0 driver

AMD Radeon HD 6470M driver

Please i need your help guys , please see the attached pictures of my system
Thanks in advance :)

The 2 video card drivers HAVE to ciome from hp. They are specially made by them, and will come together.

Win 7 and Vista are very simular, so I would try to use the Win 7 ones from here:
HP Pavilion g6-1200 Notebook PC series -  Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center

The other driver is a broadcom driver. and you sjhould beable to use the ones for the bluetooth in the above link.

Else give one of the ones in the below link.

The 2 video card drivers i couldnt find on HP web , becuase i installed the ones that my laptop need in Windows 7 but it didnt give me any results , i found it on HP website but it didnt fix this problem .

The other broadcom driver , i am still trying to get it from that website that you gave it to me . In there i saw so many company brand not only HP that this driver was built for them , so can i install it if the one that under HP name didnt work , what do you think ?

Thank you so much for trying to help me . This issue gave me a hard time , i am since three days trying to find it . I love vista and i just cant do anything in this subject !

I have a question , if the laptop was built to have windows 7 on it , would this mean in some kind of computers that windows vista drivers wont install if you change the OS ? i mean like in my case .... do you think that if the company of the laptop didnt have the drivers for windows vista thats mean windows vista would be installed correctly with the complete drivers if someone try to get it on his windows 7 laptop ? Like my case in here !

Thank you so much for the help , without you i dont know what to do :(

You should be able to install any of the other Broadcom ones. I'd grab anyone that is from HP. I'd also try the Bluetooth driver from the hp site.

I don't got time right now, but i'll nlook more for derivers for the video card.

With the laptop being for win 7, there may or may not have drivers.

Here, try this tool
AMD Catalyst

The driver that installed was the intel onboard video card.. Now we just need to try and get the AMD one going too.

^ Iwas afraid olf that. It is because your laptop has 2 video cards to save power.

I'm still looking for a fix.

That error is because catalyst is installed.

If you uninstall Catalyst, it'll stop.

Catalyst is a program. So it should be able to uninstall... You did use the Program and features in the control panel, correct?

You can try to disable thd 6470 in the device manager, or check the biosx.

The problem is that hp makes the driver for the video cards, and they didn't make vista ones.

What I have found, that might work is to find another model from hp that has a 6470 and vista support.
