Solved Anytime Upgrade - Clean Install

Hello,

I'm thinking about replacing my hard drive since my current one is too small and slow.

I was wondering if it was possible to do a fresh/clean install of Vista on a new harddrive using the Windows Anytime Upgrade disk? I still have the activation key since it was preloaded on my computer.

Can anyone help? Thanks

I believe it is not possible you can only use the Upgrade disk to Upgrade a Version of Vista to do so you will need a Previous version of Vista already Installed

Welcome
This is what you do
Use the DVD, when you are asked for a key number do not give it. In addition do not check activate automatically when on line.
After your install all of your software and are happy with the OS, activate by phone. If there is any problem, the rep will try to activate for you, if it is allowed.
