Autologin with multiple users
I want to trun on autologin for myself. My question how do the other users get to the login screen when they boot the PC?
Thanks
SoylentGreen
Hello SoylentGreen, and welcome to Vista Forums.
Well, the only problem with would be that they will startup in whatever user account you have set for Vista to automatically log on to when they boot the PC to. Using this method they would have to open that user account's Start menu and click on "Switch User" in the arrow menu.
You can use
password resume on wakeup and a user can put the computer to sleep when done instead. This way when anyone wakes up the computer, they can log on to their own account.
Hope this helps,
Shawn

I thought there was a key(s) that would force the login screen to come up.

You or they can press the Windows Key + L keys to lock the computer where they can then log on to their account. However, they will still be booting up to your account unless you do not mind and trust them.
