Thats exactly what I thought was the issue. Top/blue is pci-e #1, next, in your system , is poci-e #2
It might look like there's no room, but your boards certifide as SLI, so there is. You may ge a bit better cooling on it now too.
My boards a bit differnt, as I have 7 pci-es, and go 1 5 2 6 3 7 4 as 1,2,3,4 are x16 and 5,6,7 are pci-e x8
