Blue Screen

I dont know if this is the right place to put this but when im watching movies with this system i use vlc and some times the video window will go screwed up like with short lines of distortion and the mouse as well will go like that too but nothing else will be distorted then if i stop or close the video i will get a blue screen and the system will restart. It seems kind of serious to me any help would be appriciates its only happened 3 times but its got me worried. thx

Update your video-card drivers to the latest version. Update directx.

Make sure you uninstall older video-card drivers before installing new ones.

Other thing could include getting rid of all the dust from inside the box.

Take out your video-card. Clean its slot. Put it back in properly.

Just keep everything clean.

Try a different app to watch your movies.
