hello guys,
i'm using windows vista home premium 6.0 build 6000
on acer aspire 2930
bios: insydeh2o version v1.13
proc intel core2duo @2ghz
and 3gb ram

i've got some problem here
when i'm using ie or firefox, for a few minutes, when it's downloading files or just browsing, bsod appears
same thing while i'm using chrome, but in chrome it's an instant bsod a few seconds after i open the app

i'm doing fine while using ie or firefox or chrome while in safe mode, actually i'm using chrome right now
i've checked the driver using un*blue driver updater, and last night it took a while to upgrade all of the drivers, approximately 500mb, and thats still havent solve the problem

any clue guys? thanks :)

fyi. i havent installed any new application recently, that i knew of, but i dont know if my relatives did :|
and the app driver maybe causing this? i havent found any strange app running in the background though

Just to be clear. You have no problem in safe mode?

That is great news. It shows that there is nothing wrong with the computer. It is a software problem. We will concentrate on that area.
Did the problem begin after you installed new software or after recent MS updates?
If the answer is no or you do not know, and the problem just started go back a week before the problem with System Restore.
Are you updated to the most current SP, SP2. If not do so

KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000c, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: af0ffcf0, Trap Frame

The above is what I can see from the file that you posted. I have bolded where the report indicates that the results are inconclusive, which is unusual

the truth is, my relatives's the one who used this computer for months, i didn't touch it for a while
no, system restore point is not set when i tried to do one. and for software installation, the last software installed here are by mid-year, so I thought maybe my relatives installed some apps or add ins causing this problem, maybe I'll ask them again if they remember anything

for the ms updates, this computer hasnt been updated for ages, couple days ago i just upgraded it to sp1, which is after i know there's been an error on the pc

for now i'll upgrade it to sp2 first and report if anything happens

thanks a lot :D

If you do not have updates.
Run a full antivirus scan
Download and run a full scan with Malwarebytes.
I say this, now just to help. it is not wise not to get the updates. Many of them are to prevent virus. Virus may be part of your problem. Get all the updates and get the most current SP.

it takes a while to download and installing sp1 and sp2,
and lots of security updates, so I left the PC to work while i'm finishing my work outside of the town,

i just got back, updates are all installed
i'm opening chrome, and *bam* no BSOD :D

i don't know if the problem is fully fixed or not until another BSOD appear,
let's hope they wont appear in the future :D

thank youuu for the help :)

My Computer

MS says that all SPs should be installed, now you did that. I think that was the cause of your BSODs, glad that we could help
