Solved c user appdata local temp directory

Hello, sorry for being a bit thick but should I remove the .tmp files from the above directory and is it safe to do so?

Yes, it's safe to delete your temp files.

If you like, you could use Disk Cleanup every so often to cleanup temp and junk files instead. I personally like using the free CCleaner to do so though.

Thanks I have now deleted the files manually but have downloaded ccleaner looks easy to use but a bit confusing as to what to include for cleaning but no doubt I will work it out!

A word of warning - do NOT use the registry cleaner part of it!
In common with all registry cleaners, it stands a good chance of causing more problems than it solves.
The rest of CCleaner is fine.

You're welcome. Usually the default settings in CCleaner work well.
